All of our windows have a multi point locking system involving twin directional cams and shoot bolts. All Excel installations are carried out utilizing the REHAU S706 70mm suite as standard. We install this product internally glazed – that means your glass is fitted from the inside of your home NOT the outside. If any potential customers doubt the integrity of an internally glazed system you should talk to your local police department responsible for ‘SECURED BY DESIGN’.
Doors, French Doors and Patio Doors
All door systems supplied and installed by Excel come with multi point hook locking as standard. This means when engaging the locking mechanism hooks engage into steel ‘keeps’ ensuring the highest possible security. On Excel French door systems there are additional features, which are bolts that shoot to the head and bottom rail of the frame. Please note that all French doors have a dual handle system for easy operation.
